Vertical Bookmark Bar displays and manages your existing Chrome bookmarks bar as a vertical bar on ordinary web pages.
Data handled by the extension
• Chrome bookmark titles, URLs, folder structure, and ordering, so the extension can display, open, add, edit, move, and delete bookmarks in the Chrome bookmarks bar.
• The current page URL when you add the current page as a bookmark, and the current hostname when applying your app-mode visibility setting.
• Extension settings, including side, width, colors, font, auto-hide behavior, and app-mode site entries.
• Page layout information needed to position the vertical bar and reserve optional page space. Page content is not transmitted.
How data is used and stored
Bookmark data is read from and changed only through Chrome's bookmarks APIs. Display settings are stored in Chrome extension local storage. The extension does not create a separate bookmark store and does not send this data to the developer or to any third party.
Data sharing, advertising, and analytics
Vertical Bookmark Bar does not sell, rent, transfer, or use user data for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any unrelated purpose. It includes no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking code.
User control
You can change or clear settings from the extension settings page and remove the extension at any time through Chrome. Bookmarks remain under your control in Chrome's native bookmark manager.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Vertical Bookmark Bar's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
